DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The SideCartel designs and builds fast loading and easily navigable web sites. We know the rules but can't always stick to them. We can get anything done, but we won't do just anyone. We are at least a little selective.

We're very fond of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) as a basis for excellence in site design. For seperating the structure of the page from the content. XHTML, PHP and MySQL are tools that help too.

We utilize the tenets of Information Architecture to carefully plan all facets of a site.

HISTORY
I have been designing, building and maintaining web sites since 1996. Those sites include creations for major corporations, non-profit organizations, writers, musicians, painters, photographers... It sometimes seems that if you have an skill, these days you need a website.

We weren't always The SideCartel, we had previous incarnations with funnier names, Hooligan Development, TechnicalKO and Very Low Frequency.

THE MOVING BOX EXCHANGE
The Moving Box Exchange began inauspiciously, served up from an aged iMac hidden in a company closet. How it got there, and how it got connected to the company's T3 line, I cannot say.

The Moving Box Exchange allows people to give their cardboard boxese to others who want them. Re-Use before Recycle. That's the modest proposal.
